When was the last time you visited the Library? We invite our community to stop in to use the computers and free wi-fi, check out the Kindle, see the growing DVD collection that is free to borrow, the ongoing new arrivals of the best selling books and audios, the current changes and upcoming changes in the children's library, the addition of an internet cafe'/ young adult room on the third floor and the addition of two locally hand-crafted displays. The Memorial Oil Derrick on the wall outside the main floor and the display case/bookshelf outside the children's library were created and built by two local craftsman. The BRAG , our local historical society, utilizes a room at the Library and holds the treasures of our past. The Library continues to grow to help meet the needs of our community. Come and see what the Library has for you.
New DVDs at the Library: We continue to add new DVD's to our collection Come in and check them out, but be sure to look for a good book to go along with the movie. Books can take you on a great adventure, make you laugh, cry and inspire you, too.
The Sit and Knit group continues to meet every Wednesday from 7:00-8:00pm Come in and join them.

To honor the Town of Bolivar's long history of being an OIL TOWN, the Library is proud to offer our community members the chance to become part of that history by donating to our MEMORIAL OIL DERRICK FUND. This fund is part of our general operating fund that allows us to purchase books, pay for programs and purchase high tech equipment like laptops, printers and other items to help the public.
Call the Library about making a donation! With your donation....You can have a plaque placed on our OIL DERRICK / Oil Jack/ Oil Barrel or Oil drop....
